Archmedia Studios was founded by Alejandro Sarria in 2004. He graduated in 1992 from the New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology. For 12 years, he has worked for award winning firms including Gensler, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, LLP and Rockwellgroup among others.

While working for such firms, he provided construction drawings for various projects that included theme restaurants, high-rise development and corporate interiors. His development and experience in production, coordination and completion of working drawings has extended his knowledge in construction. Alejandro has over 13 years of AutoCAD experience and has established CAD office standards throughout various architectural firms.

With time, his interest in technology, graphics, computer generated renderings and multimedia increased. In 1997, he was accepted into the University of Arizona, College of Architecture in Tucson. He graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor in Architecture and a Master in Architecture where he developed his thesis called Multimedia Marketing for Design Firms.

Alex's thesis focused on how traditional marketing material (i.e. brochures) promoted an architectural firm and how it compares with today's technological means of marketing (i.e. Internet, three-dimensional computer renderings, animations, video and audio interactive presentations).

Today, he has integrated his architectural background along with his practical knowledge of multimedia and has integrated both art and science into what has developed into . . . Archmedia Studios.
